close call

This morning Lila woke up pretty upset. She was crying and was practically inconsolable. I started to get worried-she has had a cold for the last week and a half and never was this upset. So I called her pediatric clinic and they got us in right away. Actually at 9:30am! I had them check her ears and her throat but all was ok. I took her home and low and behold I found what the problem was...more TEETH! She has 6 teeth right now and is working on some more on the bottom. No wonder she was so upset this morning!
At this rate she will have a full set of teeth by the time she is 1. Talk about happy mornings :)

Today, Lila and I walked down to the park. Our usual trip to the park would just be walking around the path but this time I stopped in at the playground. Lila was watching the kids playing. She loves to watch kids! Then one of the baby swings became available. Oh my gosh...she had so much fun!! I think this will be a regular thing for us this summer :)

1st Birthday

Well, Mike and I are starting to plan the big first birthday. As most of you know her birthday is July 30th but I think that we are going to celebrate it August 2nd this year. Its going to be at the North Clackamas Park in Milwaukie, Oregon. The theme that we picked out is the Luau. So start looking through your closets for some tacky tourist clothing!!
I will be sending out invitations in the next couple weeks. I hope you all can make it. Any good Hawaiian theme ideas for her party? Let me know!
